Well friends, phase one of operation bedroom make-over is complete. It’s been a long 48 hours, but emerging from the rubble appears to be the makings of a real, functional, adult, livable space—and best of all, I totally love it. A very special thanks goes out to my remarkably talented design team (mom and sis) and their amazing efforts to turn my room from post-college sham to pre-thirties glam.
I’m not ready for before/ after pics just yet, but I’m definitely having a total Britney I’m-not-a-girl-not-yet-a-woman moment. Well, maybe almost… in 3 months. Yikes!

If you can’t find a chandelier, you could definitely attach the scarf to a drum shade and still get the look. I’m watching 10-12 Chanel and Hermès beautiful options on eBay… this would certainly make quite a statement in a completely unexpected way. I’m not much of a logo gal, but I do really love this and want to incorporate it in my room. More to come!
