Desert, Camels, Jewelry

I wonder if I could successfully pitch "Dubai Shore" or "Gulf of Oman Shore" to MTV?   Desert, camels jewelry doesn't quite add up to ratings gold as Jersey Shore's GTL, but hey, I'd be happy to ship off to the desert for half of Snooki's salary.    Seriously.

The Trip

Home... and this snow in Charlottesville is killing me!  I'm ready to go back.

I need another day before I can really post about the trip, but it was incredible.

It's Official

I'm going to Dubai and Oman next month.   I am so excited I can hardly stand it.  Have any of you ever been before?  I'm dying to ride a camel.   And drive along the coast.  And through the desert.  And stick my toe in the Persian Gulf.  (What WHAT!)  And explore a country I admittedly know little about, but by all accounts is beautiful, welcoming and totally intriguing.  Oh yeah, and get a tan.
